The new B40 bass represents the next generation of bolt-neck basses from Carvin. It combines the traditional styling of the popular B4 bass, and adds new features, such as Carvin's new bridge with adjustable locking saddles, inline controls and innovative, easy-access cutaway neck heel. It's equipped with our new J99A Alnico V single-coil pickups, which pack all the punch a bassist needs. The standard body wood is alder, and the neck is Eastern hardrock maple with an ebony fingerboard, white dot inlays and inline headstock. Standard electronics are passive; the B40 can be upgraded to active electronics.
